  • NWAS Senior Clinical Representative
  • Lead Clinician for Cheshire and Mersey Rehabilitation Network
  • Additional members may be co-opted

Aims of Group:

 

  • To agree overall priorities with clear action plans for service improvement & delivery.
  • To have a co-ordinating role across the Network and be a focus for sharing, promoting and developing best practice.
  • Promote consensus and provide a forum for multi-professional discussion of major trauma issues.

 

Key Priorities:

 

  • To develop clinical protocols, guidelines and standards relevant to the Cheshire and Mersey Major Trauma Network to ensure the optimal standard of care is delivered.
  • To provide an oversight of clinical governance to the major trauma pathway for all patients and to all partners within the Cheshire and Mersey Major Trauma System.
  • To provide oversight of  education, training and research relating to Major Trauma pathways across the network.
